Why Reb Atadero speaks about current events: “Isn’t it your responsibility to help others na mamulat rin?” | #KailanganTotoo

Theater actor and Tiktok content creator Reb Atadero has joined the #KailanganTotoo pledge to use their platforms responsibly. In a conversation we had with the actor, he said, “The opportunity na mamulat is a privilege, and if you’ve gotten that opportunity, isn’t it your responsibility to help others na mamulat rin?”
Atadero is best known for his role as Young Hector in the “Ang Huling El Bimbo” musical, but expresses himself online in many ways. His Tiktok content ranges from comedy sketches, singing videos, and his “Boom! Now We Know!” trivia series (that he is now turning into a podcast).
But he believes that whether he’s entertaining others or sharing educational materials, creating content should always be guided by truth.
In his post on Instagram, Atadero shares #KailanganTotoo art by Tarantadong Kalbo and calls on Filipinos to build the habit of assessing a post before sharing it, because a lot of people depend on social media to get information.
